This needs to be acknowledged -- this Photographer walks and takes pictures for all of us to enjoy. Very nice effort.

Young Beautiful Naked Female

summer, originally uploaded by hannamonika.

To be young and beautiful, especially if you are a female, gives you such an advantage in drawing a crowd of viewers when you post your nude or semi-nude picture -- if I were to post my naked behind, be assured, it would not be as pleasant; nonetheless, God-given beauty is so fascinating; yet, so out of reach when you want to contribute (and compete for the crowd's attention) yourself.

Shadow

Connexió Gos, originally uploaded by Sergi Bernal.

Shadows are fantastic -- they are created by reality, but they cannot be touched, smelled or tasted. They have no will of their own; however, they can grow or shrink simply due to the movement of the object or the light source.

Unicolor Portrait

Hans van de Vorst achieved stunning success with his portrait "The Magic". As far as I know, to date he has not revealed his technique --- but whatever the technique, the final result is stupendous.

Brooklyn Museum

I have visited the Brooklyn Museum several times in the past several years; always enjoying the experience very much. A few days ago, I noticed their Flickr Page and their Brooklyn Bridge Group. I communicated with the museum staff about my Brooklyn Bridge Pictures, and shortly thereafter (within hours!) the museum hosted on their Website, a public digital display of Brooklyn Bridge pictures submitted by any of us who want to show off our work. Bravo!!! for digitally opening the museum to all of us, to be a part of this wonderful institution.

Kindred Spirit

The featured artist for today is John B / behindblueeyes58. Viewing his body of work as a whole, it appears that our pictures are often similar [e.g., compare HIS and MINE], and we are drawn to the same or similar locations. It is interesting how two strangers may share experiences.

Photos From A Plane

Manhattan, originally uploaded by Richard-.

Photos from a plane (as this one by Richard Wanderman) always fascinate me -- they show our world in way that is vaguely familiar, yet rarely seen by me. Whenever I fly, I enjoy coordinating my view with my expectations based on my travels and study of maps.
